I tried Amazons best-selling Face Mask and here is what I thought.

Now, Amazon sells all sorts of super cool, weird, useful and not so useful stuff. I mainly buy stuff of Amazon, when I know they aren’t available in the UK, or after I watch ‘Tasting American Candy’ on YouTube, I fall into temptation and order a bunch of American sweets.

However, Amazon also sells beauty products and specifically the Aztec Healing Clay Mask. I’ve heard tons of positive reviews all over YouTube, Instagram, Blogs and from people in general about how amazing this mask is. So, obviously I had to try it out, plus I knew it would be great to write about, since most people do YouTube Demos, I’ll be doing a writing demo 😊
OK, first let me tell you all the reasons why I had to buy the mask. (Maybe, you might become as tempted as I was, and you might just hop on to Amazon and order one too)
1. The mask is a #1 Bestseller on Amazon.
On Amazon there is a feature, where you can check out which products are bestsellers, and the Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask is at the top of the list.
2. It has over 19,500 reviews on Amazon. Now you can actually imagine how many people have brought this stuff.
3. Out of 5 Stars, it has Four and a half which is relatively high, for a product that has been reviewed by so many people.
4. Did I mention how affordable this mask is? It costs between £8-£10.
The Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask is a Calcium Bentonite Clay, which is in a lot of face masks. It is the most important ingredient on most skincare masks in the beauty market, which is probably why this mask is so popular.
One of great benefits of Bentonite Clay is its ability to extract toxins from your skin, deep within your pores. It is a great way to extract impurities from deep within your skin.
So, if you’ve been wearing a lot of makeup during the week, a great end to the whole process would be to apply this face mask, to ensure your skin is the cleanest possible.
How to use the face mask;
You will need a bowl and a Spoon for the mask.
For the sake of demonstrating, I used a few bowls. However, you will just need a single bowl and get a Table Spoon of the clay and put it in the bowl.
Since I have Sensitive Skin, I prefer to use warm water instead of Apple Cider Vinegar. If you feel like your skin isn’t too sensitive, then definitely go ahead and use Apple Cider Vinegar.
Remember to use equal parts of both the Clay and Water/Vinegar.

The Mixture should something like this, or if you want it thicker just add more Clay.

Apply all over your face ( You can include your neck too), with a flat foundation brush, or you could just use your hands.

(PS, if you use your hands it could get a little messy, so I prefer to stick to a foundation brush).
After you have applied the mask to your face, just sit back and relax, until you can no longer feel your face moving 😊
Then, I like to get a Muslin Cloth, and run it under hot water, so my mask can easily slide off my face.
I gently remove the mask from my face, rubbing my skin slowly but not harshly. After my skin is clear of any product, I like to rinse my face with cold water, to close any pores which open when you use hot water.
Your face might be red for a short period, if you have sensitive skin.
However, if you have super strong skin, which MUST BE NICE hehehe, after you have washed your face, you are good to go.
A Yay OR Nay?
So, what did I think of this super famous mask that everyone is talking about.
well, I think its definitely worth a try for everyone. It’s one of them great back up masks to always have in your house, as it powder, so it definitely won’t be going out of date any time soon.
It can be quite faffy, in the sense that you have to make the mask yourself, and you have to be careful the clay doesn’t fall, or maybe I’m just a bit clumsy.
Overall, I think you should all definitely try it out.
PS. You can do more than 15 face masks with the tub which is also another bonus.
