Alas, I have finally discovered a dupe for my absolute favourite daily moisturiser. I've been using this cream for years, and I've had so many of my friends and to anyone that I've recommended this cream to, as to whether I know a dupe of this cream, since it is a little pricey.
I've actually tried so many different moisturisers to see whether any of them can compete with the Kiehl's Ultra Facial cream, and I have found the one. It is the Cera Ve Moisturising cream ( Baume Hydrant). A few months ago I recommended it to my friend, since she was looking for an affordable daily moisturiser. Since I recommended it to her, I thought I might as well give it a try. Not only did I test it out, so did my brother and sister who have totally different skin concerns from me. My brother has regular breakouts, and my sister has dry skin. Both my siblings loved the cream and found it super hydrating on their skin.
The cream is so nice and smooth, to the point where you can massage your skin as you apply the cream, without it drying out. Despite the cream being so rich, it does not clog your pores, which is the case with a lot of hydrating/ thick creams.
So, for those of you who are looking for a new daily cream, or where interested in finding a Kiehl's dupe, you have found it. The Cera Ve moisturiser is a fraction of the price. I actually randomly went in to Superdrug and found it on offer for £6, and it retails generally for around £11.99. The good news is that the moisturiser is still on offer, and I will leave the link down below.
For the price of this cream, it is definitely so worth it. There is a huge amount of moisturiser in the tube, which will last at least 6/7 months, and a little bit goes a long way.
One thing about the cream, which I prefer over the Kiehl's ultra facial cream is the fact that it comes in a tube, so you don't have to dip your fingers into the tub, like you need to with the Kiehl's cream. I prefer a tube way more than a tub, just for general hygiene.
