Assalamu Alaykum everyone.
It has been quite a while since I last published on my page. This time I am back to share my review of the breakfast spread/buffet at the infamous Al Amber restaurant in the Pullman Zamzam Hotel in Makkah. Whilst reading reviews on Trip advisor before I booked my stay at the hotel, I saw a lot of comments highly recommending the Al Amber restaurant.
One of the first things I noticed when I came down for breakfast was how organised and calm the atmosphere was. There was someone directing guests to empty tables and everything was super clean and tidy. This was a huge plus as you don’t have to awkwardly walk around looking for an empty table to sit at.
Once a seat was assigned to us, I began to explore the breakfast buffet. The selection was huge; a plus for anyone coming with family members whether you have children or elderly with you. I began with fresh fruit section and moved my way on to bread and scrambled eggs.
As you can see from the images above, the stations were constantly filled up, and you never missed out on anything as the chefs were constantly re-filling the buffet table.
Some of the foods included in the breakfast selection included bread ( of many types), fresh fruit, baked goods, yogurt selections, a live pancake station, Middle Eastern mezze, salami, teas, cereal, eggs, sausages and so much more. So, if you do have any picky eaters with you, there will definitely be something for everyone.
I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh pancakes as well as the falafel from the live station for my breakfast. As it is made on the spot, you can enjoy a hot breakfast, whilst also having the choice to eat the ready made options on the table provided in the pictures above.
To respect the privacy of the guests, I did not take pictures of the pancake station as it was a busy area. This area is in the middle of the restaurant so it is easy to spot and enjoy your hot food.
For those of you who stay at the hotel, depending on your booking, breakfast is complimentary or at a small additional cost. However, if you do not stay at the hotel, you can also turn up at the hotel and book breakfast for yourself too.
The breakfast buffet is open from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, so once you pray your Fajr salah at the haram, depending on the timing of the prayer, you can head straight for breakfast.
Th restaurant also serves Lunch (12:30 pm till 3 pm) and Dinner (6 pm till 10:30 pm).
Jazakallah khair for tuning in to read my blog.
